Rent the Museum

Special Events

The Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center is a 10,000-square-foot interactive museum that can accommodate up to 150 guests of all ages. The Louisiana Children's Discovery Center is the perfect place for a truly unique event.

Included with Rental

-Use of the entire building including party rooms and exhibits space
-Louisiana Children's Discovery Center staff members to monitor exhibits
-An on-site facility manager
-Complimentary parking
-Catering (If using a caterer, you must submit proof of insurance of the caterers.
-Event facilities are made available for set-up after the Museum closes at 5:00 pm.
-The event rental does not include storage areas. All rental equipment must be picked up at the conclusion of the event.
-Clean-up and removal of catering equipment must be completed before the museum opens the next day of operation.


School and Business Family Nights

Family Nights are a special time when schools, businesses or nonprofit organizations have the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center all to themselves for an evening of play and learning!

Deposit and Confirmation

Dates are reserved upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit and signed contract

Guarantees and Cancellations

A final confirmation of your anticipated number of guests is requested 14 days prior to your event. Cancellations must be submitted and confirmed in writing to the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center. The deposit is non-refundable.

Event Set-up and Take-Down

Event facilities are made available for set-up when the Museum closes at 5:00 pm.
